i would give it like a 6 out of 10
the video card could be better,i suggest an 8800 series gt or even the pretty cheap 9600gt that has been out for a little time now,its like 150ish. and hardly slower than a 8800gt
the power supply,if it has a 6prong pci-e power adapter on it,then you’ll be fine for getting a new video card i think.. it may be a little weak,i wouldn’t go under 500w usually…
the harddrive is o-k,a little small,but western is a great brand
the ram is perfectly fine especially if you plan on vista.
the motherboard is good
the cpu is o-k,at 2.4ghz its not bad,but maybe you could overclock it? to like 2.9 or 3.0ghz,then you’d really be quite set.

Intel is by far much faster than any stupid athalon or phenom or whatever gay cpu they have out there,and we all know that for a FACT,thats why intel can actually overclock and get away with it,because its built correctly,thats why your paying extra for it,its actually quality parts.
you’ll find that there are ati fans and nvidia fans,intel fans,and amd fans.
you just have to take my advise,amd is not as good as intel,and ati is not as good as nvidia,CHEAPER = yes,BETTER = hell no.
