What Wood would be the best to use to create a Model Ship?
I am looking for types of wood that are cheap and commercially available in Great Britain (the wood doesn’t actually have to be native to Great Britain,however,although it can be) which I can use to create a Model Ship.
Also,mentions of good companies that supply wood will be helpful.
My preference for wood boats is bass-wood:it’s almost as LIGHT as Balsa,but far stronger. Next,I’d look for Oak,Birch,or Mahogany.
