This will be a difficult question to answer,because there is really no such thing as an “average ship”. The Pirates of the Fill-in-the-Blank series of collectible strategy games,now known as pocket model games,were sold in packs that contained common,uncommon,rare and ultra-rare ship,event,crew and treasure cards. The individual ships,events,and crew and treasure cards had different abilities,some of which were more desirable than others. Generally,the more rare and desirable items were worth more,and still are among those who still play.
These items are best sold separately,since anything sold as a collection will have many items that no one wants. To get an idea of what people are paying for these items,do a search on eBay of the individual items that have closed in the past 30 days or so. That should give you a good idea what collectors are paying for these items nowadays. –LJS
