How many miles should be on my brand new car?
I have purchased a car on spec and it is being shipped from Germany to the US. The car will arrive and be ready for delivery on Monday. I will be away next week and won’t be able to pick the car up until Friday. The car I am getting is a brand new model and will be the first of its kind to arrive at the dealership. I am concerned that employees at the dealership may drive the car or worse allow a potential customer to test drive it. How many miles does a car have on it when it arrives from the factory? I really don’t want anyone touching my brand new car. I realize they may need to take it out for a safety inspection but that should on be about 5 or 6 miles. Thanks.
