The Sterling Digibinder Perfect Binder roughs the entire backbone and notches the edges. Notching blades are two small points that turn on a wheel and scrape the backbone of a book block prior to gluing. This creates what looks like a barber pole on the spine of the book block and the glue will seep into these spiral gouges in the spine for a strong hold. The Sterling Digibinder Perfect Binding Machine lets you perfect bind books up to 1-1/2″thick at speeds of up to 360 books per hour. How to Use the Sterling Digibinder:

- Custom Printed Sheets
How to Perfect Bind:
- Create your custom wrap-around covers. They can be as large as 12-1/2″in the binding edge.
- Install the correct Digibinder Adhesive for your paper stock. For bond and offset paper stocks,use the Digi-Glue 90. For glossy and coated paper stocks,use the Digi-Glue 94. For color copies and digital print output,use the Digi-Glue 2928.
- Place your cover on the left side table and square the edges against the back stop.
- Jog your papers to create a square edge. This can be done by hand,or by using a Paper Jogger for thick stacks. Place your jogged sheets into the clamp in the right of the Digibinder.
- Press the start button on the right of the Digibinder to activate the automatic binding process.
