Birdman Droid X releases first CD,installation instructions here
One of our favorite developers / hackers / awesome people,Birdman,but dropped the first Droid ROM X on my knees and it is officially time for our DX dirty little paws. Anyone with us?
His FlyX ROM(ROM Details here .) It is only in the RC1 status,but is available to anyone who rooted for 2.2 Droid X Manager to try the ROM if you are willing to take risks. Of course,we are ready to take that risk!
* Note 1 * As root,hack,install a custom ROM for the phone youre a cancellation of the guarantee. If you decide to do this,take all the risk. Risk does not include permanent damage to the device to the point where it will no longer work. Again,accept all the risks.
* Note 2 * READ every note. If you do not meet all the criteria,do not try this.
User:
* Note 1 * You must be running the leaked 2.2.( Instructions here .)
* Note 2 * You have to be rooted.(Instructions here .)
* Note 3 * You must have BOOSTRAP Droid X installed.(Info here .)
1 After all the above care of you are ready to start.
2 Download and install the ROM from the market manager.
3 If you have not already,tap up Clockwork Flash Recovery.
4 Once that is completed,select Download ROM.
5 Birdman Choose from FlyX.
6 Select the only option which is FlyX 0.1 RC1.
7 ROM will now be downloaded.
8 When the end user will be asked for data backup and erase / cache. Both boxes.
* Note 4 * Really,the two boxes. Need a backup in case something goes wrong and the Birdman is recommended to wipe the data cache.
9 You are now restart your phone,backup and flash ROM FlyX.
10 After the war,you can reboot now be run Birdman is FlyX.
* Note 5 * first launch will take some time. Be patient.
* Note 6 * When the phone boots the first time,if youre really patient,you can re-download all of your previously installed applications. Sign in to your Gmail account and watch the icons appear and synchronization of work for a long time depending on how many applications had to be.
