A word of warning:

But decorative moldings can make the door too hard to install without having to be creative with finely chopped pieces of wood or other building method.
Extensions include:
Dreambaby Amazon sells the product with the included extensions,one for each side (not intended for use two on one side,although some people have done successfully). If you pay for the extension (nothing is free),is a comfort,especially when you see what all the cargo door to a marketing extension separately. As I said,I have three of these special doors installed. I used an extension of two and two. I can not imagine what a pain it was for extensions separately. Of course,this means I have two additional extensions is not necessary.
The operation of this door:
I love it. Is better my other doors. The door closes automatically closed when it opens,even halfway and let go. Very practical. After all,you have to go through door again and again every day,and you do not want this event to be an ordeal.
Top of the stairs:
Oh,how I hated installing a stair gate. This is the most sensible place to install a door. In fact,a baby can press down and down stairs with her or not,God forbid. Here is my recommendation for the top of the stairs:KidCo Safeway Door –White. Just as I found the easiest Dreambaby door and better for most applications,I found this simple to the top of the stairs. However,the installation was difficult and time would Pressure mounted installation many doors. It has two screws for each 4 points of contact. You Know what? –You really get the screws,because they are too short and insufficient. So you need to get your own screws. On the other hand,does not close and "lock"automatically as Dreambaby door. Please see my comment is for advice on how to install it (or other assessments that have been good advice.)
Conclusion:
Pressure mounted Dreambaby the door is almost perfect for non-top of the stairs used whenever there is crown molding to interfere with the installation. The inclusion of enlargement was a good idea,but cost a bit depressed. The operation of the door is a dream.
